TORNO SUBITO o quasi

Perché nella vita bisogna sempre ricordarsi di avere delle priorità e capire quando è il momento giusto per fermarsi.

“Torno Subito” è più di una mostra: è un invito a prendersi una pausa, a rallentare, a concedersi il lusso di uno sguardo che si perde oltre l’orizzonte. È un omaggio al Lago di Como, alla sua capacità di fermare il tempo, accogliere i pensieri e offrire un punto in cui sognare. Un luogo dove non servono parole, perché a raccontare tutto ci pensa lo sguardo. Un sorriso.

“Torno Subito”, come i cartelli sulle porte dei negozi in via d’estinzione, segna un momento sospeso, un tempo rubato alla frenesia quotidiana per ritrovarsi e respirare. Serve uno spazio dal quale guardare oltre, un luogo in cui il silenzio interiore incontra la luce intorno.

Quando osservo il lago, è proprio così: mi piace perdermi nelle sue linee, nelle colline che sembrano delimitare lo sguardo di un vedere profondo, ma… che lo fanno immaginare. È lì che nasce la mia pittura.

E poi c’è quel “subito”, che è tutto fuorché immediato. Un tempo indefinito, uno spazio senza coordinate precise, dentro a un quadro come davanti a una finestra dalla quale possiamo vedere e immaginare.

Fantastico su cosa possa esistere dopo quelle linee, anzi, a essere sinceri, fantastico su cosa vorrei trovare oltre. Forse la risposta non conta perché la bellezza sta nella ricerca che ci ha portato fin lì.

Un percorso che ci fa tornare, più e più volte, prima di girare il cartello e dire davvero: “Torno Subito”.

I’LL BE BACK SOON *or Almost*

Because in life, we must always remember our priorities—and know when it’s the right moment to pause.

“Torno Subito” is more than an exhibition: it’s an invitation to take a break, to slow down, to grant ourselves the luxury of a gaze that drifts beyond the horizon. It’s a tribute to Lake Como, to its power to suspend time, welcome thoughts, and offer a place for dreams. A place where no words are needed—because everything is spoken by a glance. By a smile.

“Torno Subito”, like those fading signs on old shop doors, marks a suspended moment, a slice of time stolen from the daily rush—time to breathe, to find ourselves again. We all need a space from which to look beyond, a place where inner silence meets the light around us.

When I look at the lake, that’s exactly what happens: I love losing myself in its lines, in the hills that seem to frame a vision—not to define it, but to awaken the imagination. That’s where my painting begins.

Like stage sets unfolding the imagination, inviting us to step in, to come closer, to dig beneath the surface. These landscapes become glimpses into others, an opening to the world in search of connection. Here, the essence of encounter takes shape—the deep bond that nature quietly suggests.
The materials I use come directly from the very places I portray, because each collected element holds memory and meaning.

And then there’s that word, “subito”—which is anything but immediate. It evokes a timeless space, undefined, a place without clear coordinates—whether within a painting, or in front of a window from which we can both see and imagine.

I daydream about what might lie beyond those lines—or rather, to be honest, about what I hope to find beyond them. Maybe the answer doesn’t really matter. Because the beauty lies in the search that brought us there.

A path that makes us return—again and again—before we flip the sign and truly say: “I’ll be back soon.”

A special detail makes this exhibition even more unique: a truly immersive experience, where the boundary between observer and artwork becomes almost invisible. It will be a play of perspectives, glances, and frames… Ready to play?
